For most MSP's there comes a time when they see costs increasing and revenues remaining static. There appears to be little scope for fee increases with clients, yet their costs of labour, time, RMM and related services keeps going up. How can MSP's seek to reduce costs and increase profits ?
Many MSP's operate on a fixed fee model, providing support for clients at a flat fee each month based on the volume of IT hardware and users. Therefore the best (first) way to reduce costs is to reduce the number of times clients seek help; reducing the risks which can cause IT problems will reduce the number of times your valuable resources need to be used on time consuming tasks, allowing you to focus more on high value activity instead
